Jacob to Study Human Paleogenomics in China

Lab graduate student, Jacob Gardner, was recently accepted into the International Visiting Student program through the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with a scholarship to fund his residence. For the next academic year, Jacob will study at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology where he will learn techniques for analyzing ancient DNA under Dr. Qiaomei Fu. He will also be completing one aspect of his dissertation, which focuses on the population history of humans in China. This program will provide Jacob with invaluable international experiences and professional connections. Congrats, Jacob!
